With more than ten years of swim instruction experience, Holly is now the owner of Bridgewater Swim Academy, a swim school in Reno, Nevada, where she offers high-quality, customized swim instruction.
She has competed in many Olympic distance triathlons and to-date has run two marathons, including the Boston Marathon. Holly is the proud mother of three children, a devoted athlete, and a fitness enthusiast.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in public health with a minor in substance abuse counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno, where I swam for the Women’s Swim team for three years. Following my undergraduate studies, I joined the Peace Corps and worked in the country of Grenada as a mental health advocate and elementary school teacher. I have years of experience in mental health and emergency management.
As an instructor at Bridgewater Swim Academy, I continue to fulfill my passion of swimming on the pool deck. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, friends, and dog, Mickey. I love swimming in the nearest lake, river or ocean during the summer.

Swimming has always been a passion of mine, I love competing and hanging out with friends. When I started swimming I didn’t know anyone but my sister and when we were put into different groups, I started to make my own friends, such as my best friend of 9 years. Swimming is a sport that I will always have a special place in my heart. I’m excited to meet new families and become a part of the Bridgewater Swim Academy

I have been swimming since I was 6 years old. I started with Sparks Piranhas and ended up at Reno Aquatic Club. I had the opportunity in middle school to join the Sports Ambassador program. As a team we toured Australia and New Zealand competing in swim meets representing the United States. Swimming was a huge part of my life growing up and I still enjoy any activity in the water.
I am currently an Accountant with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Marketing. I love traveling, all my book clubs, my pup and sound baths.
My focus as an instructor is helping my client feel safe and comfortable in the water. If they are advanced, I am very passionate about stroke analysis and improvement to become more hydrodynamic. I especially love helping a swimmer work smarter not harder. I’m excited and grateful to join the Bridgewater team!

I enjoy working with children. I’ve coached many youth sports.
I occasionally play piano and practice my drawing skills. I like making music on my computer as well.
I swam in high school and was a lifeguard and swim instructor before.
I operate a vending machine business which I enjoy working on. I’d like to start more businesses is the future.

I worked for Holly the owner in the healthcare industry prior to that.
I am a parent of two so I understand how busy our clients are. My goal at Bridgewater is to provide our busy clients quality customer service.

Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned a minor in Human
Resources. Ever since second grade, swimming has been a huge passion of mine. I used
to teach swim lessons and worked as an assistant coach for a summer league team in Las
Vegas called the Summerlin Seals.
I am currently studying to become a PE teacher because I love helping others stay active
and build confidence through sports and fitness. When I’m not in the pool, you can usually
find me at the gym, playing video games, or spending time with my family and friends.

Im originally from Long Beach, CA and just moved to Sparks after serving in the Navy for the past 5 years. I have multiple years of experience working in aquatics and youth programs, and I’m passionate about helping swimmers build confidence, safety skills, and a love for the water.
I believe swim lessons should feel encouraging, engaging, and empowering for every client, whether they’re getting in the water for the first time, overcoming their fears, or improving advanced skills. I love creating a positive environment where swimmers feel supported, celebrated, and excited to learn.
Outside of the pool, I enjoy content creation, community events, doggy dates with my pup, photography, videography and finding creative ways to connect with people and make lasting memories.
